Yahoo’s sign-in seal
30 01 2008Yahoo! recently implemented a new feature called “sign-in seal,” which pretty much is like what banks and credit card websites have already been using, but smarter. The feature, basically, is meant to help prevent phishing attacks.
It is apparently smart enough in that it spans browsers and survives cookie deletions by way of cookie-like Flash shared objects…props to Yahoo! for making it much “smarter.”
