Comcast pays Americans to oppose net neutrality

“Comcast is now paying Americans to believe in deceptive ISPs.”

This is just low…no wonder why the economy is falling, mistrust is more prevalent, and morale overall is down in the U.S. 

Just read Comcast spokesman Charlie Douglas’s statement:

“As is common practice in Washington, we did pay a few people to stand in line [outside the meeting hall] and then hold seats for some of our Comcast executives and other Comcast employees who were attending,” Douglas said. “We were just trying to make sure the hearing was well-attended on our side.”

Cold Boot encryption memory hack

I read an article wherein researchers from Princeton University cooled down memory to -58 degrees F which allowed them to examine the encrypted contents of the memory for as long as 10 minutes.  Microsoft, however, says its unlikely

To be clear, encrypted data here is data that gets encrypted by apps like Vista’s BitLocker or Mac OS X’s FileVault.  In any case, it’s an interesting read.
