The Restaurant

Thanks to Will Chou, my friend and co-worker for sharing this.  Enjoy!

First, take the tram up to the start of the trail.

Now follow the path.

Be sure to hold on to the ‘railing’.
clip_image003
Keep an eye on the person in front of you.
clip_image004
Be very careful when passing someone going in the opposite direction.
clip_image005
Now just up a few steps. (They are on the left in the picture.)

Gets a little steeper here, so put your toes in the holes.

A few more steps to go.

Finally in sight.

This restaurant is in China.  If you manage to reach the restaurant the food is free.  Let me know how the food is. I’m not going.

Convert YouTube videos into MP3

A few posts ago I showed how to Save YouTube videos into your iPod.  But what if you simply want the audio?  Well you’re in luck.  A website just popped up that allows you to do just that:

FLV.TO

It’s easy and simple to use.

1. You can either enter the YouTube URL or upload the .flv file  you want converted.
2. Hit the OK button, get a quick snack, and wait for the progress meter to finish.
3. Once done converting, it will ask you to save it on your computer.
4. Finally, simply import it into iTunes or your favorite player.

Viola!  Instant audio from video!  Enjoy.

Save YouTube videos into your iPod

After 4 years, my trusty 4th gen 40gb iPod (grayscale) died on me.  Thankfully, the Apple store is currently offering 10% off on new iPod’s if you recycle your old one…So I got the 6th gen 80gb Classic and I love it!

There are two things you’ll need to download YouTube videos.  I myself use these free apps:

1. Fast Video Download – a Firefox plugin to actually download the YouTube video.

2. iSquint – an app that I use to convert the .flv (Flash file) into MPEG4.

PC Users: You can use Videora iPod Converter.
